This project is the first in a series of four exhibitions commissioned by the Milan Chamber of Commerce. In a splendid location in Soho in Manhattan and at the Triennale di Milano in Tokyo, the exhibition presented a selection of more than 200 design objects from Italian companies. Through the skilful combination of products, the visitor could discover the Italian style at the table. The breakfast table, the romantic dinner, the business lunch, the lunch on the terrace … 10 tables that represent the Made in Italy and the culture of the Italian “dolce vita”. The Thomas Berloffa Design Studio followed the curatorship, the exhibit design, the graphic design, and the catalog.
To complete the exhibition, a video that included clips of Italian films from the 1950s to today to discover how cinema has told Italy at the table over all these years.
